Ugh. Bone claws. One of the dumbest ideas of all time.
Look people, if he had bone claws, they wouldn't have to rip through his arms and hands every time he pops them. There would be natural channels.

Good fiction works within its own internal logic. Just because something isn't real doesn't mean it shouldn't make sense. That's just allowing people to be lazy.

dude, he had bone claws in the comics.......they add the adamantium to his skeleton (i.e. bone claws) and the claws are then metal........get it?

Nope. He had solid metal claws and then some stupid writer re-wrote his history and gave him bone claws. In fact, in one of the X-men comics around 160 Sym breaks one of his claws off. No bone.
